Temple Shaarei Shalom has become a leader in the North Palm Beach Jewish Community in working with children with special needs. We are the first school in the area to have a Special Needs Family Coordinator on staff whose job is to be the contact person for ANY family whose child needs any learning modifications or alternative plans. Our Coordinator works with the students and families to learn the best practices and strategies for each individual student as well as providing professional development and support for our teachers.
Temple Shaarei Shalom believes that every child deserves the opportunity to be part of our Temple family and continue their Jewish Education. While we do not have a self-contained special needs program, we have an Inclusion-style program for our students.
