Alissa Frankel brings more than 15 years of experience in Jewish education to her role as Education Director at Temple Shaarei Shalom. She is passionate about creating joyful, engaging, and relationship-centered learning experiences for children and families.
Originally from Baltimore, Alissa grew up deeply involved in synagogue life and youth programming, experiences that helped shape her commitment to Jewish education and community building. She began her career working with youth in foster care before transitioning into Jewish education, where she has served as an Education Director for over a decade.
